Bible(KJV ):
We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally
inspired of God; inerrant in the original writing and supreme and final authority in faith and life. We accept
only the King James version for public instruction in the church.( 2 Timothy 3:16,17 )
Trinity:
We believe that there is one, and only one, living and true God;
that in the unity of the Godhead there are three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. (1Peter 1:2)
Evolution/Creation:
We belive in the Genesis account of creation, and that it should be
accepted literally. Also, that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only
physical death, but also that spiritual death, which is seperation from God, and that all human beings are born with
a sinful nature. ( Genesis 1:27; Romans 5:12; Ezekiel 18:4; Ephesians 4:18; Romans 3:12,23 )
Sin:
We believe all mankind to be sinners as a result of the voluntary transgression
of Adam. ( Romans 3:10; 3:23; 5:12 )
Virgin Birth:
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Ghost in
a miraculous manner; born of Mary, a virgin, as no other man, and that he is the Son of God, and God the Son. ( Matthew
1:15-25; Luke 1:26-38 )
Salavation:
We believe that savation is wholly of grace through the Blood of Christ
that was shed on the cross. We hold that a sinner must accept this atonement for his sins in order to be saved.
( Ephesians 2:8, 9; Romans 6:23 )
Church:
We belive that a church is a group of baptized believers whose only
guide is the Bible, and whose only mission is to teach and preach the Gospel of Christ. (1
Corinthians 12:27; Ephesians 1:22,23; Ephesians 2:19-22 )
Ordinances of Obedience:
We believe in the ordinances which Christ has commanded us to observe.
Baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper, both only by born-again believers. (Matthew 3:16; Matthew 28:19,20; Acts 8:36-38;
Acts 10:47,48; Romans 6:3-5;
1 Corinthians 11:23-26 )
Resurrection:
We belive that Christ rose bodily from the grave; that after forty
days He ascended to the right hand of God, where He is today interceding for the saints; that He will someday return
to earth, bodily, personally, and visibly, to establish His Kingdom for a thousand years of righteous reign. (
Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Luke 12:40 )
